Scale & Perspective. NYPD

The goal of this project was to capture an object and use mergers and perspective



NYPD car.

Edited in in Lightroom, increase the contrast, and the blacks. Copped to 5x7.


NYPD police car stuck in the kitchen sink drain.

Edited in Lightroom, increased the contrast, and blacks. Cropped to 5x7.



Tragic end to a high speed chase.

Edited in Lightroom. Cropped to 5x7. Used preset B&W filter, decreased the contrast and brightness, and increased the blacks.


Cop-y Cat.

Edited in Lightrooom. Increased the contrast, and cropped to 5x7. Added the photo of my cat in Photoshop using the magnetic lasso tool, then replaced the mirror using the same tool.

Photo of shadows on the ceiling of SunValley Mall.
Original on left, then edited and put together in Photoshop. The image was cropped to 5x7, placed on a new 14x5 psd. After placing a guideline at 7 in vertical, the original was placed on the left. The original was flipped horizontally, and inverted, then placed next to the original.

This is a photo of a fence in Martinez, CA. Editing in Lightroom consisted of increasing blacks, increasing contrast, and minor cropping to eliminate distractions.



This is a photo of a staircase of a house in Walnut Creek, CA. Editing in Lightroom consisted of increasing blacks, increasing contrast, and minor cropping to eliminate distractions and create a center of focus.



This is a tree line along Gregory Lane in Pleasant Hill, CA. This was captured at approximately 5:00p.m. Editing in Lightroom consisted of an increase in fill light, an increase in blacks, and an increase in contrast. 



This was taken at about 4:40p.m. at the SunValley Mall. The strong directional lighting from the sun, and obstruction by the lights, create a repeating shadow pattern across the ceiling. Editing in Lightroom consisted of an increase in blacks, and contrast.
